Memories by Katie: Council Burney is another man who hides in the background making sure everything is ok. The Ladies’ Auxilliary owes him so much... he helps us cook, serve, sell, you’ll even find him washing our dishes fairly often. He has a fun sense of humor and an amazing heart. He’s one of the ones who hugged me tight for oh so long at the 2017 convention, tearing up when he spoke of my parents. That’s what makes a family, not blood. |
